This is a nice clear outline of the Abortion Law Reform in Victoria by Women's Health Victoria. It includes a clear explanation of the conscientious objection clause including what might happen to practitioners who do not refer women to a health care provider without objections to abortion and the impact of non-referral on women.
Comparing it to the rather dramatic responses of some of the Catholic clergy is illuminating - of course hospitals won't have to close....
